WelcomeMy name is Kylie Perez. I am currently a PhD Student at Texas A&M University - College Station, TX in the Department of Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management (RWFM). I received my B.S. degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in 2020. Afterwards, I completed my M.S. degree from the RWFM department in 2023 and started the Ph.D. degree program in 2024 at Texas A&M University. I am a currently a member of the LEDRS Program (Landscape Ecology, Drones and Remote Sensing) within the department under nationally recognized scholar

As a passionate researcher my journey has been anchored in the exploration of South Texas bats. I have mostly contributed to the advancement of our understanding of wildlife species and landscape across the Southern United States. My expertise extends to hands-on fieldwork from wildlife captures and monitoring to diverse ecological studies. Alongside my research pursuits, I actively engage in professional societies, leadership roles, and community service initiatives, embodying a holistic commitment to the field. With a track record of notable achievements, I bring a blend of technical proficiency, applied field skills, and a commitment to community engagement to the realm of wildlife research and management.
